The Spring Fling began 31 years ago by dedicated parents who wanted to offer a fun social event while raising funds for our school. What an incredible event made possible by the generosity shared by sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees! We’re incredibly grateful for everyone’s support and participation!
Together, we raised a combined total of $115,004 and surpassed our overall goals! What an incredible success! All proceeds will support SEAS Catholic School, families, teachers, and students through tuition assistance, scholarships, capital and technology improvements, teacher grants, and more! We can’t thank you enough for supporting our efforts in making SEAS School an exceptional place to learn and grow in faith. Meeting and exceeding the Fund-A-Need goal will allow us to move forward with both projects.
First is the replacement of two stationary basketball hoops and making them more functional with adjustable options.
Second is the renovation of the staff lounge areas. The goal is to create a welcoming and functional lounge that will inspire and invigorate the faculty who educate the youth at SEAS!
We look forward to sharing updates on progress as these projects begin! We appreciate your enormous generosity, love, and support! Thank you doesn’t begin to express our gratitude.
We’d also like to thank the members of the Hastings Catholic Education Foundation board and our school office staff for their efforts to make Spring Fling such a success.
The Spring Fling is an annual event that started in 1991. It provides a way for families, teachers, and supporters of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School to come together for an evening of fun and fellowship. The goal is to raise funds for SEAS school and the Foundation.
This fun event is open to all, including families of present students, alumni, parents of alumni, parishioners, and anyone who supports Catholic education. The event includes a silent auction of projects made by students as class projects, donated items from businesses near and far, and families. Donated items include cabins for a weekend, area professional sporting events, and fun group events, to name just a few.
The Spring Fling also includes a live auction. One portion of the live auction includes a "Fund-A-Need" which raises money for a major school special project.
The event typically occurs in April. Contact St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School if you would like to donate an item, find out the date of the event, or purchase tickets. Please contact [email protected] for information.
